Pledges

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Minute of Silence

·         The theme is set and books are ready to be purchased! Mark Your Mark and purchase the 2014 Eagle Yearbook. Cost is $55 before March 1st and $60 afterwards. Books can be ordered from any yearbook staff member or from Mrs. Ervin in room 510. Don't be left out, order your 2014 Yearbook now!

Also, don't forget to pick up your 2013 yearbooks. See Mrs. Ervin in room 510 if you prepaid for a book or if you'd like to purchase one of the extras.

 

·         Attention BPAers!  Don't forget we have club meetings every Wednesday at 7:20 am OR 4:00 pm in Mrs. Olivarri's room 512.  Membership dues must be paid by Oct. 9 and officer elections will be Oct. 11.  Also, sign up for your competitive event and team events by Oct. 18.

·         JUNIORS AND SENIORS WHO WISH TO WORK IN THE CONCESSION STAND MUST SIGN UP WITH MRS. KOTZUR IN THE ART DEPARTMENT BY WEDNESDAY OF EACH WEEK.  YOU MUST ALSO HAVE A SIGNED AGREEMENT ON FILE TO WORK. 

·         If you missed taking your photo during PREP Days, we will have a photographer on campus Wednesday, October 9th to take your photo.

·         Seniors, remember to log onto www.gotocollegefairs.com  before Oct. 17th to register for the College Fair.  The college fair will be held at the sports complex from 1 to 3 PM.  Invite your parents and meet with colleges from all around Texas.  If you need help logging on to this site, come by the counseling office.

·         Attention students.  On Wednesday, October 9th the concession stand will be open in the Old Gym Hallway after school.  Stop by after school for a cold drink or something good to snack on!  If you have questions please contact Mrs. Williams in room 605.

·         JUNIORS!  YOU AND YOUR PARENTS are needed in the concession stand on Thursday and Friday nights.  The concession stand pays a large part of YOUR Prom and YOUR Senior Trip.  There a 6 nights left.  Come sign up NOW in the Art Department.  This is YOUR responsibility and you all need to step up and take care of this.

·         Eagles, how would you like to win a pizza party for your advisory class?  Believe it or not, at the end of this week one advisory class will win a pizza party.  How do you win?  It is easy as 1, 2, 3.  RoBoss, the Scitech robotics class is collecting money so they can participate in the SAbest Robotic Competition on November 2nd.  All you have to do is place your change or dollars in to the collection bag.  The advisory class that collects the most money to help support RoBoss by Friday will be the class that wins a pizza party for your class.  The deal is real, so bring your funds, help support Team RoBoss and possibly enjoy some pizza for your efforts.

·         National Honor Society Students, There is a service opportunity posted outside Miss Bailey's Room 207 for workers at the concession stand at the River Park on October 19th.  Please come sign up!~  The concession stand at the Football Field needs workers as well on Thursdays and Fridays!
